PSE Meter Update — 4/2/20

Handyman Gene has completed removal of caulking from all 37 identified PSE (Puget Sound Energy) electrical meter boxes outside individual Marymoor Trails units. These are all 20+ years old and, per PSE, need to be replaced. Many homeowners were contacted by PSE telling them to remove the old caulking.

Tim Hollingshead, Morris Management, will be notifying anyone who has contacted him that they can reschedule with PSE.

Any homeowner who has been contacted by PSE should call PSE back. Any homeowner who has not yet been contacted by PSE regarding a meter box upgrade should wait for PSE to call them. The number to call to get it scheduled is 1-877-773-1770.

PSE says their installations are on hold right now because of coronavirus concerns. PSE further says we should all call them back again in a few weeks if we haven’t heard from them by then.

Again, we would love to handle this as an association on behalf of all homeowners, but PSE is adamant that each homeowner must contact PSE personally to schedule the box replacement. During that replacement, power to the unit will be shut off and homeowners are advised to unplug electronics, computer, SmartTV, etc.

If you have any questions please contact Tim Hollingshead at Morris Management.
