2021 Budget and Ratification Meeting with Homeowners

Please watch your mail for a special packet from Morris Management with detailed information about Marymoor Trails’ proposed budget for 2021.  In compliance with the laws of the State of Washington, homeowners must have an opportunity to comment and approve or disapprove.

After careful thought and planning, the Board of Directors has approved an operating budget for fiscal year 2021.  The Board anticipates that financial obligations for our Association will increase in 2021 and, accordingly, our regular monthly assessments will increase beginning January 1, 2021. Everyone’s monthly assessment amount will increase by 6%.

The packet from Morris contains a detailed budget and the precise amount that your monthly dues will increase effective January 1, 2021.  Please take a minute to review this information.

According to Washington State law, a budget ratification meeting has been scheduled for November 16, 2020, at 10:00am on Skype  https://join.skype.com/J087nb4iBnpI.  This gives all homeowners a chance to comment and approve or disapprove.  The budget is automatically ratified unless a majority of the owners specifically vote against the budget.  Therefore, although you are more than welcome to attend, your attendance is not necessary unless you plan on voting not to ratify the approved budget.
